Conceived by Dr. Nicola Gozio, Strategic Wellness Consultant & Professional Aufgussmeister from Brescia, this project is closely linked to Wellness, Spa and, more precisely, to Aufguss.
The Aufguss is a ritual born in northern Europe and practiced in a sauna. It’s characterized by high temperatures, the use of essential oils and the presence of an Aufgussmeister who, with special towel ventilation techniques, directs warm air imbued with perfumed essences to the guests.
.
The concept carried out by Dr. Gozio is based on the idea that psycho-physical well-being can be achieved through a combination of body health combined with treatments that develop the emotional side of our being, sometimes seeking simple relaxation, sometimes aiming for to more intense and direct reactions thus creating a real experience.
From here an idea arose:
What’s better than Rock music to unleash an immediate and powerful concentration of emotions?
However, one piece was still missing.
One of the fundamental elements of Rock, and in music in general, is its being linked to the experience of a live performance. It is a combination of sensations impossible to replicate with a recording.
So why not call a professional musician to play live in the sauna?
And that’s where I come in, with my electric guitar.

The sauna hosting the show, which takes place every Saturday at the Hotel Quelle Nature Spa Resort *****, has undergone numerous adjustments aimed at recreating the atmosphere of a real rock concert and increasing the sensory immersion of the guests, as well as to allow me to use the necessary equipment in a creative and safe way.
For this reason, a special thanks goes to the Steinmair family and in particular to their son Manuel, owner of the Hotel Quelle Nature Spa Resort *****, for the commitment and willingness to carry out this important project.
Careful studies have characterized the search for the right solutions to position all the necessary equipment: from a new and perfectly balanced audio system, designed to allow the right impact and the best possible sound quality, to the lights, the lasers, the smoke and all the elements show.
A reconstruction of the stage of a contemporary music concert.
Being a sauna and not a concert hall, inevitably therefore limited by a small space, very high temperatures and a lot of humidity, everything has been designed with care and the final result is truly amazing.
Speaking of surprise, you can imagine my amazement when this project was presented to me. Right from the start, however, I saw the conditions to create something unique and ambitious, and as a lover of experimentation, I enthusiastically joined this adventure.
From a musical point of view my role is divided between that of guitarist, interpreter of classic pieces of the history of Rock, and that of consultant for the choice of music and the light show connected to them. I also managed the creation of the backing tracks, recorded in a way studied to obtain the best possible result in terms of fullness of sound for the involvement of people.
Seeing the emotions in the eyes the customers, their amazement and satisfaction after having attended the show, amply repay us for the efforts made and stimulate us to improve.
We can also count among the acknowledgments of our work the numerous articles written by various international magazines and newspapers that describe this project as a point of excellence within the world of well-being.
.
I’d like to conclude this article, which I hope guided you through the emotions linked to such an interesting project, with an important news, something I’m really proud of.
It’s recent news that the Aufguss show “Rock Party Live” is officially nominated for the “European Health & Spa Award 2021” among the 5 best wellness treatments in Europe (a recognition that certifies the quality of the work done and that pushes us to go further and further with new ideas), whose Gala with the awarding of the winners will be held at the Grand Hotel in Vienna on April 28, 2022.
