Song Background
“Goin’ On” is an instrumental song totally different from my previous release “Sap”. The guitar is at its center, but this time in a more melodic way. And this is not the only difference.
Given my passion and work for audiovisuals, I started writing this music with a scene in my mind: someone traveling to an unknown but sunny place, starting a new life.
It has an happy feeling, but also a bit of melancholy, because this person leaves something behind.
The drums emphasize the idea of constant motion, while the guitar “tells” the story of this journey.
